Square Root Fabrication is proud to introduce something we’ve been working on — the WORLD’S FIRST L5P Duramax Billet Impeller Water Pump!

Whether you’re daily driving, towing heavy, or pushing your L5P to the limits on the track or pulling sled, we’ve got you covered!

Unlike conventional modified water pumps, the SRF water pump features a precision-machined billet impeller that is horizontally pinned in line with the shaft and TIG welded on both sides for added strength and security.

Many modified water pumps use a vertical pin installed perpendicular through the shaft, creating a potential weak point that can increase the risk of shaft failure.

Square Root Fabrication takes a different approach. Our billet impeller is pinned horizontally, parallel to the shaft, rather than drilling vertically through it. This design avoids the cross-drilled shaft configuration found in other modified pumps, helping preserve shaft integrity and reduce potential failure points.

Combined with TIG welding on both sides, this construction is designed for durability in demanding L5P applications.
